Well done! I gave each of my nephews an 'emergency' $2 - I told them at any time in life they could bring it to me and I would swap it for a $50 bill no questions asked. They also know they can purchase their bills back for... $50. So far, one has taken advantage of it; we'll see how it plays out in life for them!

What a great documentary. My Grandmother gave my Mom a 2 dollar bill back in the 40's the day my brother was born. She always kept it with her.

My grandma passed away in 2017, and my mom told me that she saved this bill for me. I kept it thinking that it was worth bazillions, but now I know that it's worth much more for me, and for others who have such treasure. I'm all the way down in Honduras and surely I will gift this to younger generations for me to be remember always, starting with my grandma.

Loved this story. I'm 78 and I can say in every certainty have not had a $2 in my hands more than 10 times. It is true, many to most stow their $2 bill and it is never spent. I did not hold on to them, , put them back into circulation. This story of the $2 was informative and fun.

I love this $2 bill. It is truly a work of art. I am using it to reward "good behavior" for my grandchildren's learning during the Coronavirus issue. Their parents give them a grade at the end of the week pertaining to their home-schooling. I payout on a sliding scale as a function of their "grade"...they LOVE $2 bills

I have another cool story…during the 1970’s Naval Station Norfolk got a lot of hate and people along with merchants wanted the NS Norfolk gone. To show the financial impact of the base, the US Navy paid all sailors in cash with $2.00 dollar bills, by doing this the local economy was flooded with this money forcing people to visualize the importance and value of the base in the economy of Norfolk city and in the state of Virginia

I once gave away a $2 bill to a transient in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was strapped for cash at the time and thought my good deed would help bring me some good luck. It was the exact opposite almost from the moment I gave it away. Nothing but bad luck for years. It wasn't until I randomly came into possession of another $2 bill years later that my financial luck changed....Now I keep a fresh one on me at all times. Always a good conversation starter as well.

My story: as a manager of various convenient stores, I always kept a "marked" $2 bill under my ones. It was "marked" because we kept that bill's serial number. Since $2 bills were not widly used, other cashiers would KNOW something was weird if they they received a bill as such. It was our "got ya, " to a robber who thought to rob us.
