Between Mycenae and Palaia Epidaurus is an Ancient Mycenaean Road.

Along this road are 4 bridges, considered to be the oldest in Greece the world, and 3 are still in use to this day. The famous Arkadiko Bridge, the Petrogephyri Bridge, and 2 others which are virtually unknown due to their inaccessible locations. In this video we hike to and explore the two lesser known bridges, which may well pre-date the Arkadiko Bridge by some 100's of years and be the true, oldest bridges in the World.

See the Better Known Bridges, including the Arkadiko Bridge in this video linked here;

This is a fantastic hike located near Nafplio and only about 90 minutes drive from Athens, Greece. You are rewarded with some of the finest inland views and vistas in Greece, and can can explore 4000 years of human civilisation along the route.

Thanks again for a great video, I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates you sacrificing life and limb to bring us the close ups of this ancient place we call home.

New subscriber! Came here from link you shared on Reddit. Wonderful videos. I’m fascinated by Bronze Age civilization, especially Mycenaean Greece, so your content is right up my alley.

Thank you. This was really interesting. I plan to sleep overnight near Mycenae after doing this hike. Could you please recommend any nearby towns or villages that may have inns, motels etc? I'll be on foot as I do not drive so things may be challenging. I wonder if they've got Uber or Blah Blah car in Greece.
