Do it with EVERYTHING!!! Love!!! Also, this is why extension cords were invented. Taylor, you are an engineering genius!

This is both a work of genius and a sign of madness at the same time.

My first computer directly from Radio Shack. So wish I still had it and the memory expansion pack. Bravo, this looks like a great project!

It's like a prop from an 80's sci fi movie, but in real life and working

Super video. I had a MC-10 when I was a teen in the early 80s. I learned BASIC programming on it and had to make all games and utils myselve, because there were only 2 tapes for sale at the local Tandy store with games. Good times. (I also bought the 16K memory expansion to expand the MC-10 total memory to a whopping 20 Kilobyte)

I love that you used Lego pieces as part of your build! So cool! The portable generator at the end was a nice touch!

Like many of the other folks in the comments I had to come see this creation because my very first computer was an MC-10. Learned BASIC on it and upgraded a year or two later to a Color Computer 2, and slowly added peripherals to it, including disk drive, Speech/Sound Cartridge, and the Direct Connect Modem Pack. Love your custom MC-10 laptop!

Loving this latest instalment of Taylor & Amy madness — huge smile here and a big thank you. The next step is clearly going to be an appropriate laptop bag 😜 although I’m not entirely sure what that should be made of. Woven together strips of Meccano?

How DARE you drill holes in the doorstop?!!? I mean, this is about the most fantastic thing I've seen in months! Love it!

Awesome! And can't wait to see it in person at CocoFest next month. (Also, if you haven't already - grab all of the Inufuto MC-10 games too (I think that there are 11 so far). And... as proven by your test at the end of the video - you can take your MC-10 laptop camping now!

This is cool asf. Looks so fun to use and the legos give it personality! Kudos

That's the coolest little thing I've seen in a long time. The sd32 on the back was a stroke of genius, and all done with lego and a bit of ironmungery. Keep on moding your systems, it's great fun to watch and you're doing a great job of it ;)

Hard to believe, but the MC-10 was my very first computer... because my dad couldn't afford a CoCo. The limitations were so big that he ended up getting one when I went to high school (but played games most of the time).

This project is SO DAMN AWESOME! Thank you sp.much for doing it & your other MC-10 videos!

Oh, you mentioned you're taking it to CoCofest or something? They're still around? Next you'll tell me Rainbow Magazine is back in print! :)

I love this build, it's amazing. I would probably flip the MCX device upside down so the pin headers were at the top to take up that extra slack and remove the need for a twist in the cable.

That's excellent. You should be proud.
