fall in love at first time i hear this song and seeing the scene in movie. This is what makes IT different than most cheap jumpscare movies. IT sells you a story, not just bunch of absurd jumpscares.

I think this is my favourite part of the movie. There's no creepy adults or scary clowns needed, just a bunch of kids being kids. Having fun in a quarry while young love blossoms, it's enough to make you go

Am I the only one who gives an impulse to cry when you listen to the song and imagine the scene?

this makes me feel oddly nostalgic and doleful at the same time. It's like that very moment you finally say goodbye to your childhood and carry them on as memories.

The song makes me tear up a little bit, I can't explain it.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the main theme of the film, because this is every bit a story about childhood and friendship as it is a story about an evil clown monster. I'm so glad this movie turned out so good.

When Bill stares at Bev and Bev glances at Bill and Bill turns away and Bev turns to see Ben staring at them both is a better love triangle than Twilight.

This song tells a story. The beginning is when shes getting bullied, and her dad is beating on her, and everything is going wrong. Then it gets happy when she meets the Losers club. People were calling her "slut" and stuff like that for her whole teenage years so when Ben wrote her that poem, it truly felt good. It tells you a story, its not just cheap jump scares, it makes you relate to the characters and feel the pain they're feeling, so when Pennywise starts fucking with one of them, its all the more scary because you dont want anything to happen to them. I love these character tracks because they completly capture what each character is all about. Everything about this movie is awesome.

damn.

This is actually so heartwarming. Who would have thought such a sweet melody would be on the soundtrack of a horror film? Wow. This is truly such a great great movie

I finished the book the day before the movie came out so I went into the movie with the fresh feelings and thoughts that the book had given me. Sure there is a supernatural killer clown but the true horror of "It" is the idea of losing childhood and the pure, innocent, unadulterated view of the world. Both the book and the movie explore the rich and intimate worlds and lives of each of these kids (the book more so), and that's what makes it so easy to fall in love with these characters and root for them. This song and this scene are amazing and really show that spontaneous "fun" that only kids can really have. Even without Pennywise, this movie would be an amazing story about this group of best friends, greater friends than this world has ever scene.
"...to think that childhood has its own sweet secrets and confirms mortality, and the mortality defines all courage and love. To think that what has looked forward must also look back, and that each life makes its own imitation of immortality: a wheel. Or so Bill Denbrough sometimes thinks on those early mornings after dreaming, when he almost remembers his childhood, and the friends with whom he shared it."

this movie really captures the beauty of the book which is a amazing read and shows you Stephen King can write children really well and it also shows you he is not just a horror writer he writes beautiful stories like this one now just if we can get a good dark tower adaptation

I would even go so far to say IT is not just one of the best horrors of the decade, it is one of the best movies of the year.
It has so much to tell, not just the horror aspect. This scene is so powerful, perfect bonding moment for the Losers, great acting match up with this beautiful music, superb!
