DR. Hanson thank for another great lecture that outline the Centroid of Mass, Body with Different Densities using the old fashion Table Method. Although The Table Method is the way to solve Centroid problems, it is very easy to make mistakes.

When he got stuck on 9x8, I questioned myself whether 72 was the right answer or not

I don't understand why you didn't multiply it with the density ( m= rho*V) to figure out the mass?
🤔

i think in the first part or the triangular part the y bar is 8/3 not 4

I'm kinda worried about the way he breathes. He's kinda exhausted, hmm.

I was doing centroid met with cone shap with 150 radius and cylinder of 50 radius bore inside they asked height of inside cylinder
I watched almost all videos of volume but couldn't get right ans
Than now I realise my mistake
What I was doing is
Total volume = volume of cone without cylinder + volume of cylinder
My mistake
I was taking cylinder volume pie r square×height which is ok but I was also taking volume of cone with same formula which wrong
Volume of cone is = pie r square × height ÷ 3
But good things is I learned about volume more

Dr. why you did not multiple the densities of mass into a mass? (you just calculate the volume with multiple in mass )

Frame with three members one is vertical length 7
Second is like two force member (3, 6) both end pin connected with first member and third member.
Third pin connected with first( 6, 6)
60# Weight coming straight down from tip of the third
When I solve them for x centroid y centroid with table and lenth answer are correct but when I solve sum moment devided by weight answer wrong
If I ignore the external load which is 60 then answer is right in moment over weight methed
Density of each member is 4#/ft
I considered w in center of all members plus 60 external then sum of moment of all w divide by w ans is wron but lenth table is correct answer becoz no worries about w
But what's wrong with moment method I don't know
