I live in Wichita and this is where I get rats for my ball python. They're one of the few pet stores I've been that actually care about the well being of their animals and have decent care standards.

Just FYI house snakes are not colubrids! They're Lamprophiids, related to elapids more than they are colubrids. Really takes away from how diverse snakes are phylogenetically when we keep lumping everything under the "colubrid" label, the family is actually quite small now.

Wow, remind me to never move to Wichita lol. Also, House Snakes are Lamprophiidae (not colubrids) more cloely related to Elapids, with tons of variations from Aurora house snakes to the Boaedon house snakes etc

House snakes already come in so many color variations naturally (and a big eyed locality), they're amazing! They're also easy to keep and a lot of fun to watch and interact with. Only "downside" I could think of is that they are pretty small as babies (not that the adult size makes for a big snake) and they tend to yeet themselves with no regard to their safety. 😅

Coolness, I’ve been buying my Dubai roaches from here for about as long as I have been in the hobby🎉, about 6 years. I have a leopard gecko and a crested gecko. The rest of my collection consists of amphibians: two whites tree frogs, two tomato frogs, one smooth side toad, and one pacman frog.
