Live: PM Boris Johnson answers questions from Keir Starmer at PMQs

The first Prime Minister’s Questions post-summer recess and there’s no shortage of topics Labour leader Keir Starmer could choose from on the government’s handling of the pandemic over the summer.

At last night’s Parliamentary Labour Party meeting, Starmer told MPs: “We’re starting to see a real contrast now. Professional, credible and responsible opposition — in the national interest. Versus an utterly incompetent government that’s holding Britain back.”

A Labour official says we can expect the party to bang on about a “lost summer” for the next few weeks at least.

After PMQs there are two UQs, the first on the boats crossing the Channel, to which Home Office Minister Chris Philp will be responding, and another on the creation of FCDO.

It should be Prime Minister questions and answer time, unfortunately you have to remove the word answer as Boris does everything to swerve answering any questions, its embarrassing and you can see why he turned down the debates and interviews b4 the last election, he doesnt have the ability or knowledge without a script to provide an answer? Sad thing is that we have a possible 4 more years.

Starmer asks the question twice and still doesn't get an answer. What do we even bother with parliament anymore its a total joke that gets nothing resolved.
