We love when our therapists strive to learn more in their field of practice every day. Alex Bocchi, Goodyear physical therapist, is currently conducting a dry needling study.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of electrical dry needling on knee osteoarthritis. This requires the use of a 23 needle protocol and 9-11 electrical leads crossing the knee joint. We are hoping to find if this knee protocol can be used to either delay or even reverse the effects of osteoarthritis in the knee.

Ryann Roberts, owner of AzOPT & Kids Place, wanted to get in on the fun! Look at all those needles.

Keep up the great work, Alex!
