Great video! I work in a large facility housing about 1500 people that get medications. We get the medications in several large pharmacy containers with a sheet that contains all the medications packed in each container and the person they are for. The list contains barcodes for each medication, the medication name and the person they are for. The medication name, person they are for is in text. At least 3 times a week we get these large shipments. It takes several of us hours to go through each container and match each medication in the container with the list sent.

I would like to be able to scan each bar code in the list into an excel spreadsheet, then use the barcode reader/scanner to scan each medication, which also has a barcode on it, in order to compare each medication in pharmacy container with the list to make sure we actually receive everything that's in the list. Seems like it would be an inventory type application, but we don't care about pricing or anything else. Not sure if these barcodes on the list will be the same each time this person receives the same medication in a refill, but this could be a toss away data set only needed long enough to compare the list with the medications received in the pharmacy containers.

Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks in advance.

I used your advice and used free3 of 9 font to create barcode, but it doesn't work with decimal numbers. Basically it doesn't recognize comma. Do you have any advice for me?

I'm a huge fan of your technique for filtering a data set and copy/pasting the results somewhere else in the workbook. Is there a reason to not do this with an array? I know for most situations it's not necessary, but I want to try to build something larger using an array and was wondering if you've done it in a video i may have missed.
