How to fix a loose output jack on your electric guitar 🎸

Haha figured this out the hard way! One of the wires completely disconnected and it stopped working 😳 good thing I have a soldering iron lol

I would recommend that you use a socket and tighten it securely. Finger tight will be loose again in no time.

The ground wire on mine was like a thread and I broke it off tightening the wrong way. I used the opportunity to beef up the wires, but I hadn't realize what I had done and probably would have broken them again if I hadn't watched this. Thanks!

This should be recommended to everyone getting g into electric guitar. The fact that I’m getting this three years after I needed it is very frustrating; I had to learn to solder because my wires came off from all the turning smh
