This is a disaster waiting to happen. Small children are not going to stay six feet apart nor wear masks for almost seven hours. Parents who care about their need to step up before they lose them to indifference and incompetence.

Tell me again, why did Florida want this guy? He's going to need to update his resume with "Student and Teacher Killer".

How stupid can parents be ? Don’t send your kids period. They have the duty and obligation to keep their kids safe.

Teachers and Professors should wear full PPE, the children returning home untested is the real problem; do you want to isolate from your kids?.

If the school system employees are forced to go back to work they should sue when they contract covid.

The virus spreads when the infected exhale and the droplets go out horizontally and drift down. Small children do not easily infect adults, because their exhalations do not rise to the necessary level. Put children in setting where most of them are about the same height, they will spread the infection among themselves quite rapidly. No one knows the long term affect on children (or anyone) beyond the fact that all the infected (even the asymptomatic) have lung damage.

I heard most Florida DOE employees are working remotely. Even other agencies. So adults stay home, kids get to school and if teachers, custodians, cooks, bus drives get sick no problem.

All teachers should promptly seek treatment and apply for Workers' Compensation for their Anxiety Disorder caused by their employment. There are several types of anxiety disorders. Agoraphobia is a type of anxiety disorder in which you fear and avoid places or situations that might cause you to panic and make you feel trapped, helpless or embarrassed. Workers' Comp would provide 80% of your pay and all of your benefits until you recover. That would be better than quitting, early retirement or being fired for refusing to work in hazardous conditions during the pandemic.
