Teachers and other government employees will have to write monthly checks if they want to stay in their union after Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill Tuesday banning automatic dues deductions from public employees’ paychecks.

If he truly cared about keeping teachers down here, he'd let them teach what their students want to learn without interfering with their jobs because of some BS culture war on his part.

He should have had his PAC tell his old Florida teachers to NOT tell the truth LOL. One said they remember him as being the dumbest student he ever had. I agree. The 5th grade teacher in Hernando county who showed a Disney PG film in her science class and was reprimanded started the storm of teachers resigning. More than 100 vacancies in that county now. Diisantis wants to fine any teacher for resigning, like he wants to reverse minimum wage and prisoners voting, and removing ELECTED officials from their job, put there by voters. Anyone notice how many superintendents are now resigning? NO ONE is happy with his job, his approval rating is NEGATIVE 19. Floridians don't want to research him and see him laugh during torturing in Gitmo. He's really off the rails. Hopefully, he can be removed quickly and swiftly. No one realizes his feud with Disney will cause all of us to start paying city and state taxes, along with the 40 percent increase in auto and homeowners insurance. Research him.
