Java EE Programming - Oracle Install

This video demonstrates how to install Oracle Express on a Windows XP computer to be used with the Java EE JDBC database connectivity lectures. You can follow the same instructions for 11g. The same instructions also work on Windows 7. The video also shows you how to start and stop the Oracle background services so that you can conserve your computer's memory and processing power. The video also demonstrates how to unlock the HR sample database that comes with the Express Edition. We will be using the HR database for some of the examples in the EE programming class.
