I've always loved River. She was more relatable than the doctor for me. I've seen many videos about them and they never seem to do them justice. Having to be in a thing where you love the person and it only grows day by day while the person grows to not know you and treat you more and more like a stranger every day, it's something very few people can understand because it's a thing that happens once in a lifetime. And it's the worst curse that anyone could have. So props on making this video which highlights that sadness so well and shows the complexity and the deepness that their thing had.

Their story just breaks my heart every time.
Actually the Doctors whole story really. Rose got to me at the start as the first love then with practically losing Donna (even as a friend he loved her in a way). And then throughout Elevens era it was constantly in his mind every time he finds he finds River eventually he saw her die and knows her end but can't tell her. Plus the last time with Twelve he knew that was their last time because she told Ten that right before she died so it made him the most emotional.
Essentially the Doctor cannot love because he loses them with the way he lives. They are human and he is a Time Lord.
My heart can't take the emotions and feelings I get from this. 😢😭😖

When I was 14-18 I was obsessed with this show. I'm 21 now, and this video reminds me of why I loved it so much. What a pure kind of love- both of them remembering that one day, they will greet each other's faces and one will not recognize the other.

Thanks for this video. I love it. It shows how much River would like the Doctor to move on, to not be hung up on her. She wants him to find love and happiness even if she’s gone. Because she knows he deserves it, that his hearts are so big the entire universe can fit inside them.

I always find videos I love about them and I tell the makers they are my favorite video maker & their video my favorite video, but I think I truly love this Doctor/River video the most. My husband and I just started watching Doctor Who together (I've seen everything through Cipaldi on my own so far.) This was just wonderful and brought back all the feels. We won't meet River for another several episodes but I am so looking forward to it, knowing what I know now.
