WHO IS BON?!
Bon is a big blue animatronic rabbit who is the mascot for a restaurant called Bon's Burgers and the main villain of an analog horror series called The Walten Files. The Walten Files, loosely inspired by FNaF, tells the story of a Chuck E. Cheese style children's restaurant and their unsettling possessed mascot animatronics, and it's all told through this creepy found footage 2D animation.

We didn't know much about The Walten Files before we started this project but we're SO glad we found it. A few months ago, we got a call from The Make-A-Wish foundation. A 12 year old boy named Loren wanted a full sized Bon animatronic, and after having made a bunch of Poppy Playtime and Five Nights at Freddy's animatronics, we jumped at the opportunity!

Our animatronic Bon the Rabbit has a sturdy welded steel frame and is animated with a wiper motor for the waist, and servos for the head and jaw. Standing over 6' tall, he turned out super intimidating. We even worked with Martin Walls, the creator of the Walten Files for a big surprise for Loren.

We love how our real life Bon turned out and we really hope Loren likes it too! If you want to see more of our DIY custom Halloween animatronics, check our our Springtrap, DogDay, CatNap, Huggy Wuggy, and Puppet animatronics. Let us know who you want to see us make next!

Thanks for watching and Stay Wicked, y’all!

This turned out incredible! I can't put in words how thankful I am to have been contacted about this, you guys put an incredible amount of passion and effort into everything you do and it's so sweet what you've done here. Thanks to Loren as well for being such a dedicated kid, it warms my heart to know he likes the series and loved what you guys did!

I almost thought it was strange that Loren was such a big fan of the Walten Files at age 12, but then I realized that I was 12 when the first FNAF game came out, and I was a big fan of that. It's nice to see kids continuing to enjoy horror.

Bro Loren is so eloquent and well-spoken. He's such a sweetheart. I'm praying for him.

All Bon stuff aside, that kid is freakin smart. My Lord it was like hearing MatPat talk about something on GT Live, just the way he mentioned the differences in FNaF and TWF and the way he talked about the anticipation vs jumpscares, discussing the 3D models, bro used “secondary motion” and talked about the idea of mimicking life— like he’s really knowledgeable.

This child articulating his enjoyment of the show made me so happy.

I CRIED WHEN I SAW HIS FACE WHEN BON SPOKE
Ive always struggled showing ‘loud’ emotions like excitement but I felt a kinship w Loren
I cant wait to see him get better and build some kick-ass animatronics when he’s older ❤

this kid is so smart, just the fact that he used the term secondary motion correctly baffled me

21:31 this section is just so sweet and precious, you can see his whole face light up. he's looking at the face as if the character is really infront of him. you can tell his really happy which is just adorable!!

The fact you guys took a fully 2-dimensional character and created this life-sized animatronic is still so amazing.

I’m really glad you mentioned that it’s ok to not have some super over the top reaction to a gift. You can see how excited he was with those custom voice lines. Absolutely fantastic job

That kid actually talks very confidently and justifiably. He’s a good speaker for a 12 year old horror fan.

The custom lines from the creator himself made me tear up. That was so sweet 🥹
This animatronic looks awesome, I've never imagined ever seeing Bon in 3D and realistic.

I think "I like the body proportions" and "you nailed the head" are some of the highest compliments that can be bestowed for something like this. It turned out amazing you guys!

Hearing the custom voicelines genuinely made me tear up a little. It's amazing to see the Martin and the team themselves reaching out to you for this project. I wish Loren a long and happy life, because i can see he's got a great future ahead of him.
Stay wicked!

I personally find that Bon is literally one of the most unsettling things I've seen so far.
Animatronics in his style genuinely unsettle me so much which is rare. The proportions are just slightly off.
His legs are slightly too short, the torso slightly too long, teeth just a little bit too big. The voice is cheering but with a malicious undertone. It's a peek horror character in my opinion.
I wouldn't go near him tho lmao
