Hi i would like to assign the same sound to multiple pads, e.g. kick to pad 1 and 5. unfortunatelly learn function letting me program only 1 pad . Any suggestions or alternatives would be appreciated.

I watched many of your reviews and overviews, so first of all thank you!
Your infos really helped me on choosing the right controllers for my setup and it's great to have one guy review like 12 controllers (you definately have a lot of them!).

So I have a question about the mapping with Sonivox Big Bang Packs:

I bought the akai mdp and use it with sonivox through Ableton.
But the mappings are kind of strnge for my mpd (when i load a kit). So when im Pad Bank A i only have the top four pads loaded with sounds and then most of Pad Bank B with the rest of them.

How did you map your MPD in Sonivox?
Did you do it manually or you have some nice settings or max patch?

Why is my MPD 218 pads kind of hard to press, its like I couldn't tap them like you do and get the same result it would absolutely skip a note because they aren't sensitive enough, is there a way to tweak that at all or is it because its screwed too tight or maybe just faulty unit ?? please help

but I did rearrange the wav sounds to my own in Maschine
so it worth ableton and AKAI essentials

I purchased an Akai MPD218 which comes with Big Bang Cinematic Percussion but when I tried to activate it asked for an activation code. Where would the activation code be? Thanks

Bin am überlegen, mir auch mal eine MPD218 zu kaufen! :) Der Preis ist doch recht erschwinglich und mir geht es n bissel darum, dass ich in Cubase die Drums besser einspielen kann :)
