This video brought back memories… I lived in Tokyo from August 2018-January 2021! I remember when I was trying to find an apartment, I went with a Japanese friend to a real estate company, and the agent called about 50 landlords on my behalf… which I was denied to all but two places. It was soooo discouraging, but everything worked out in the end.
