On my journey to the Shores of Gold, one of the most memorable Tall Tales was that of Wild Rose.. In what is otherwise a fairly standard Pirate Adventure, this one stuck out as particularly heart wrenching in a way that the other tales simply didn't.

From one of the most frustrating Tall Tales (To which I had to do 9 times because I kept getting sunk or DCed and chapters just didn't exist yet) to one of my favourite Tall Tales in the entire game due to the most heart wrenching moment. I'm quite happy that we got to see George and Rose revived during Pirates Life.

The wild rose is the best tall tale hands down. It’s been a couple years since I’ve done it but I still remember how it just hit different. Maybe it’s time I revisit it again. Thanks for posting this, Cliff. I feel like I’m not alone in my admiration for this tragic story. I also was hit with sadness when I realized I wouldn’t be paying a visit to a living rose and George. As a side note, the ship set is one of the most beautiful in SoT, which is interesting for a Tall Tale.

Yesss- I am so glad you finally covered the Wild Rose tall tale. I've been doing this tale a few times cause I am trying to get the special sails from this tall tale. I think I only have two more times to go plus all the books to get it. Sadly- the last time I attempted it I got sunk because an ashen winds event had spawned on the island (which is kinda funny that it's happened more than once) I needed, so i had to clear it, and people pulled up and didnt bother to listen when i told them they could have the ashen loot cause i just wanted to do my tall tale. But it happens XD so that's alright. I'll get the sails eventually.

Tall tales love their vaults. Especially the actual shores of gold one ;). Can’t wait for cliff to do that last one. And art of the trickster
