Well-deserved. Let's all further help the Chinese out by reducing any Made-in-China purchases whenever humanly possible.

Wish they would do the full show like they used to. Canada doesn't like informed citizens.

It says a whole lot about Democracies vs Dictatorships by just looking at recent flooding in China, Russia and the US. Russia earlier this spring and China currently have/are experiencing catastrophic flooding and dam breaches or brakes while the US experienced the same in the last year or two. In Dictatorships, barely little has been said about these catastrophes and Putin and Xi are everywhere EXCEPT where the flooding is. When the US and other Western countries experiences the same, the leaders are there on the ground talking to officials AND local victims and often pitch in to help some. Why the difference? In Dictatorships, once in, the leader is set for life or as long as THEY choose and there is nothing to be gained by putting your life in danger. The people have no say on if you continue to keep your job. Russia has pretend elections so the people think they have a choice but the results are never in rea doubt. In Democracies, you ARE chosen BY those people at regular intervals and if you want to win another election, you are going to visit the area, meet people, help out and get a real picture of the devastation.

Sneaky Chinese using Mexico as a landing ground for products should be punished with MORE tariffs or outright banned!

As a machinist I can say that metals that come from chyna or russia are full of garbage inside. I've caught broken inserts extremely hardened sections and inconsistency all across. Broken a number of new inserts on my machine and then sent a sample of the metal for lab analysis. It came back with a humongous number of impurities in the sample. Is it cheaper than made in US steel? Yes it is. Is it worth it? Not the least bit whatsoever!

2 1/2 years into the Ukraine war and the US finds out russia has increased it war materials production. what a shocker. and yet the US/NATO/EU are at about the same as it was before the war because we just don't get it. it takes a long time to produce new production facilities and modern war equipment, we cannot do the same as we did during WW2, but to many think it's just that easy.

If they're concerned about chinese cars in the US, then they should Enact import regulations to restrict them. Why isn't other makers cars running round the states? because they don't meet the safety standards, are crap, don't follow the emissions standards and from many many many reports they burn up.
