The BEST Car Dryers Battle!

The BEST Car Dryers Battle! In this video, I present what I believe to be the best automotive car dryers (blowers, blow dryers), to help you make a better purchasing decision. A car dryer will allow you to dry your vehicle quickly and safely. It will help to prevent water spots, and because it’s a touchless method, it will prevent scratches and swirls from appearing when you’re drying your car. We compare models from Metrovac, Bigboi and EGO.

I love my Adam's Air Cannon. Very flexible hose that self-expands to like 30'. Nozzle tip. Great CFM at almost 400. Heated. I took it off it's rollers and attached it to the bottom of the top-shelf of my detailing cart. Absolutely love it.

I recently picked up the 765 CFM Ego blower and am very pleased. I couldn’t imagine needing more power, especially with a coated car. Great battery life and performance, and best of all, it’s cordless. I love the dual purpose aspect being able to use it as a car dryer, and household work. Definitely a great investment.

Great video!, I just purchased this past weekend the 650, convinced the wife to buy the EGO lawnmower the 650 and the weed wacker . The cool think is that the lawnmower comes with a big battery and the fast charger . So now I have two big batteries plus the 2.5 and the fast charger .

I have the smaller ego blower and it works well but takes too long to dry a vehicle. Great for small areas and wheels. I have an EGO and that is the best one out of all! I modified mine to have a shorty extension and makes using it some much better! Definitely use ear protection because the EGO had my ears ringing for a tad when I was done using it really high up for the roofs of vehicles.

Just purchased the Ego 650 and ordered a stubby tip for it. As always, thank you for all of your reviews. They are incredibly helpful.

Tip: make sure that the road, driveway, garage floor or whatever your vehicle is parked on is dirt free and wet. Reason: when all this air is blowing around you will blow dust or worse(dirt) back on you freshly washed buggy. Especially make sure it’s dirt free and wet when blowing your wheels.
But then again, you’ll figure that out the first time you try blowing air on your car.
Bonus: for us snowy folks the air blowing method works great on your car if you got some snow on it. That way you reduce marring/swirls on the paint

Hi Pan
Just received my 765 blower kit including the 5 Amp battery and charger from the USA
Only I could not use the charger as it was USA 120 volts and we in the UK are 240 volts, so I needed to by a fast charger
Not used it yet for drying Mt EV6, but can't wait. Thanks Pan
Waiting for my Shorty to arrive from ETSY

Pan as always a great job! You really do mean it when you say “sit back relax and enjoy the show” I am in the market for a blower to dry my Mini and this review was timely as well as informative. I will mention that I purchased a Harbor Freight cordless blower with a 5 amp hour battery for detail drying. You can handle it with one hand and is great for interior dusting, door jambs, under the hood etc. Will be looking at the Ego since our sedan is a large Ford Edge and the power will be needed. Thanks again for a job well done!👍.

I don't have outdoor electricity right now. I went with the 40V Ryobi cordless blower which is 550CFM. Cost me $200 with a battery and charger. It works really well. Gets the car 90 percent dry

EGO makes a leaf blower attachment for cleaning your gutters. It also comes with a stuby which I use for drying my vehicles. $51 USD.

Hey Pan, good review!  Just to add.. My Metrovac Air Force Master Blaster is about eight years old and still going strong. The only part that I’ve needed to replace due to wear and tear was the power cord  ($20.00) which bring up the point of longevity. This unit reminds me of the Electrolux vacuums cleaners of the 70’s & 80’s.  Those things were built like a tank and were 100% serviceable.  Same goes for the Air Force Blaster. So yes, they are expensive but they may last you 20+ years as long as parts are available.  Can’t say the same about most modern appliances now a days. Seems everything is designed to last no more than 3 - 5 years then you need to go out and buy something new.

I bought the Adam's Air Cannon Car Dryer last year and it works great for me. Rated at 58, 000 FPM with a 30 ft expandable and retracting hose and easy rolling caster wheels that have a locking mechanism. Bought it from Amazon for $285. I also have a DEWALT FlexVolt 60V Leaf Blower that use most of the time… love it.

Hi I have had the master blaster rev for 3 years. I leave it on the wall and purchased an extension hose which is a lot softer, it was £400 in the UK.
Great product 👌
