Temporary immigration to Canada being reduced with new measures: report

The federal government is reportedly set to introduce a new string of measures to clamp down on temporary immigrants coming into Canada.

The federal Liberals have previously promised to reduce the number of temporary immigrants in Canada to five per cent of the population.

But as Mackenzie Gray explains, the details of those impending policies remain unclear and critics are skeptical about whether they will help ease the country's housing crisis.

I am 45 I lost my job! Now I can't find any work 1 year been looking. Never had this issue before. Too many international students taking over the jobs most not even going to school working full time jobs

The graph at 1:38 started in 2015 and exploded year on year outpacing all of the support mechanism for new comers. Have reduced natural born Canadian ratio to non existent.

Preventing mass immigration to Canada is just common sense. Look what happened to the native populations of North America when Europeans immigrated here en masse. Do you wanna repeat that? Also, look what happened (and still happening) to the native population of Palestine when the British allowed the mass immigration of European Jews to Palestine. Do you wanna repeat that here?

It’s been so long about immigrants from different countries applying to Canada why only now that having this temporary visitors become a big problem???. It’s the incompetent people who are handling and managing the application. It’s a simple mathematics get the right number and set a limit and it should be devided by different nationality not just mostly dominated or only people from India getting approved. The government should investigate if there’s manipulation and connivance from government position who’s approving it. It’s either these incompetent people be fired or be reported to RCMP for corruption.

Clamp down on non-citizens who are stealing cars, etc.,
Quit providing lucrative incomes for lawyers, judges who set violent criminals free in Canada.

Stop issuing international student visa & temporary work visas. Save the seats in Universities and colleges for our domestic students. Put a cap on the number of international students we allow into the country.
