water flossers replace string floss? #shorts

OKAY SO. For most people — water flossing does not replace string floss, especially if you are cavity prone (which is me). So why do I love them?

Water flossers can reach hard-to-reach places better than regular floss (which is super great for the gums). Even though there is that one spot that they can’t reach *the contact point where your two teeth meet* they can still help reduce the amount of plaque on your teeth, which helps to reduce your chance of cavities.

HOWEVER, if you are someone who needs to focus on preventing cavities (like me), you’ll most likely still need to string floss, as well!

Talk with your dental hygienist to find what's best for your individual mouth :)

I’m looking for a water flosser that won’t grow mold in it after a few months, most if not ALL of the ones I’ve bought in the past have grown mold in the nozzle and I’ve had to replace it with traditional string floss due to wasting over $500, I’d make sure to dry it out completely every time and STILL it’ll get black mold:((

Any suggestions on products that have a self cleaning tool or something to prevent that from happening or should I just stick with traditional floss?
