Reasons I went with the S21+ over the Ultra:
-Ultra is too big
-QWHD is nice but I don't mind FHD
-Battery life almost as good as the Ultra
-Ultra's camera is only marginally better. I find the 100x zoom to be a gimmick.
-Video recording is the same
-I prefer the flat screen over curved

There is actually a microphone at the back of the device near the flash, you can see on some teardowns but samsung decided not to put a hole on it, maybe because of condensation issues from the past models
