Pranayama Potion - a 20 minute relaxing Yoga With Adriene session for all levels! Join Adriene for this healing practice that focuses on the power of a simple breath ratio technique. Tend to your inner world to tend to your outer world.

Take twenty minutes to calm the nervous system and relieve stress and anxiety. Find stillness, gather yourself, connect to the magic within. (This practice can also be done in a chair.)

This video was shot on location at the Adidas Brick Lane Studio in London and is designed to help you alter your energy state to feel present and balanced.

Clicked on it and hated it. Thought to myself “it better not just be this position the entire time” and I wanted to fast forward throughout to see if it was. I didn’t and continued however. About half way through, breathing 4-6’s, my ache in the midst of my back, slightly right side, went away. I had a mental shift and realized this is one I need every morning to ground my mind and improve my posture. It dissolved the negativity within me. What a discovery. Thank you all the way from California to London. Have a good day everyone.

Adriene - I was diagnosed with Chronic Pain Disorder 3 years ago, aged 16. I was in constant pain all down the right side of my body for years. I tried everything: painkillers, acupuncture, more, stronger pain killers, hot water bottles, tens machines etc, but nothing really helped. It was so limiting, I couldn’t do sport or walk long distances, it prevented me from going out with friends and even going to school. However, it’s been a lot better the last few months and i put this mainly down to the fact that I started doing yoga around a year ago; it’s helped me unbelievably. Im so much stronger and have this connection to my body that I’ve never made before. I still get the pain and it hasn’t gone completely away, but it’s a lot more manageable now. I’m at university doing a degree that I love, I have some wonderful, new friends, and importantly I am able to live a life that’s not defined by my pain, and it’s wonderful. Thank you Adriene xxx

Yesterday, I had strong thoughts of killing myself. My mind constantly dared me to harm myself. I cried my self to sleep. When I woke up, my body was aching. I have this video on my watch later list and this morning, I decided to try and live for my loved ones. This practice has healed me and saved me from yesterday's aftermath. Thank you Adriene sensei. Thank you for helping me get back on my feet.

Haven't done this one in awhile and was amazed how flexible I was. Consistent practice is key! Thank you Adriene, as always, for providing me with my daily dose of peace and joy and relaxation and strength and EVERYTHING GOOD!! ❤

Here again for TURN Nov. 2024 I really wanted to MOVE today but I realized halfway through the video that I needed BREATHING even more! I had a self-imposed stressful moment this morning and after realizing where I went wrong, this Pranayama practice was perfect for letting go.

I rarely post comments on videos, but I'd really like to share this. I started doing yoga with Adriene almost a year ago, with the beginning of the first lockdown in Italy. I was suffering and am still dealing with anxiety issues. More than once I gave up for days or weeks, because it was easier (and I was more used) to not care about myself. Today I started again after 20 days of pause, from the end of "breath", and I am so glad I found the way to reconnect with myself. I wanted to thank you Adriene and all the community for teaching me self love and self kindness. Everyone of us and in the world is worthy, is loved, is important. Thank you for reminding me this everyday. Namaste😊💜🌸🍀

Hello from Scotland. I just drove 5 and a half hour to attend a funeral. Got home and thought.. I wonder what Adriene has for us today and it was a wonderful, peaceful, mindful breathing session. My mind is much calmer now and thank you again for being there for your world-wide community 🙏 🥰

I am in a season of real personal struggle and stretching mentally and emotionally. My body has been manifesting this. It was good to just breath out all the stress.

I’m realizing more and more everyday that the world would be a better place if only people took a moment or two to check in daily and connect to their inner side. As much as I love a pranayama practice I find myself getting discouraged when I can't successfully take a big, deep breath in for 6 counts. But then I remind myself that it is all about consistency, practice, and training your mind and body. This reminder happens because of all the encouragement you give Adriene. Thank you for allowing me to find something to take away from every practice! See you tomorrow! 💜
