This video is an easy tutorial for crocheting a baby bootie for newborn babies. This part is part 1 - the sole. The following are part 2 - the sides and part 3 - the ankle.

I just made the 1st one and about to make the other bootie! You are very easy to follow and I like that you also have it writen on the screen, if i forget how many you said to do I dont have to rewind bc you leave the directions on the screen until its completed! Thank you!

I use this pattern for all baby shoes/booties just change the hook you use... Red Heart 4 ply works ...Newborn-3mth: Use 3.0mm hook E or F or 
3mth-6mth: Use 4.0mm hook   G
6mth-9mth: Use 5.0mm hook   H
9mth-12mth: Use 5.5mm hook  I  

Round 1: ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hk and in the next 7 sts, 5 sc in the last ch st; work these 5 stitches around to the other side of the chain, (next work into the unused loops and over the end tail) sc into 7 unused loops, 2 sc in last unused loop, join with a sl st in 1st sc. (22 sts)

Round 2: ch 2 and PM in 2nd ch st, hdc in same sp as ch-2, hdc in next 7 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 5 sts, hdc in next 7 sts, 2 hdc in each of last 2 sts, join with a sl st into top of ch-2. (30 sts)

Round 3: ch 2 and PM in 2nd ch st, hdc in same sp as ch-2, hdc in next 12 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 3 sts, hdc in next 12 sts, 2 hdc in each of last 2 hdc, join with a sl st into top of ch-2. (36 sts)

Found that Myboshi No.2 is like an Aran/ worsted/10 ply yarn.
And I heard her say "size 6 for US", which is a 4mm hook or US size G.
I followed Berlin Crochet's instructions on a DK yarn, size 4mm hook (G6) and the sole measured 8.5cm.
Hope this helps as a guide to any beginners, like me

I think you said Myboshi N.2 yarn? I found it online but it isn't clear what weight this type of yarn has: Is it chunky, worsted, DK, sport? What is the gauge and the size of the sole?

Two problems: 1) there isn't a written pattern.  To make the second boot, you'd have to stop and write down the instructions as you made the first boot. 2) The tempo of the video is slow.  The instructor needs to speed up her crochet or speed up the video in between instructions.

You’re not suppose to pronounce the “t” and the end of the word crochet. It’s pronounced crow-shay.
