A very special DF Direct shot on location in the US, directly after John and Rich went hands-on with Xbox Series X - and even constructed the machine from its component parts. What do we think of the hardware and just how big is it really? We put together some Series X size comparisons vs Xbox One X to give you an idea of its dimensions - and no, it's NOT a PC mini-tower.

My biggest takeaway is that you can take a 1TB memory card full of games to your friend's house and play them. WOW.

I love how utilitarian this thing looks. Just keeps it simple, functional, no leds or oblique angles, not trying to be a fashion statement, its just a box that plays games.

As a Playstation guy, I have to say that everything about this console is impressive.
Even the design is cool. It's very sleek and minimalist, which means it will never become an eyesore.
Best of all, Microsoft is forcing Sony to push innovation and not become complacent with their success.
This is a win for gamers everywhere.
