Ok, so it wasn't just me on House of Earth and Blood, I had also dnf'd it for that, but also another reason. Maybe I should find somebody to buddy read it with or just give it another shot. I haven't read Wolf By Wolf either, but I wound up grabbing a hardcover copy of Blood for Blood at Dollar Tree for $1 a while back. I was book shopping with a friend, I was psyched up and she looked mortified 😄.
