Custom DIY RFID Smart Lock - Raspberry pi

The goal of this project was to design an inexpensive rfid door lock which could be opened via smart phone, and have all activity logged w/o utilizing any 3rd party servers or cloud hosting.

Quotes from 3rd party companies came in @ ~$3000/door.

The total hardware cost of this project is under $100/door.

I used a raspberry pi, magnetic door lock, rc522 rfid reader, and 5 volt relay to design this project.

Could you explain the wiring of the power supply control and relay? Is the relay connected to the NC of the of supply? I found this exact supply on amazon and just a little curious how I would connect it with Arduino and relay. Thanks!

I am trying to make a Wireless Door Lock and Message Display Board System! The
idea is to connect a smartphone/computer (through HTML?) to Arduino over Wifi
network and use it to send and receive simple messages that will be displayed
on a LCD connected to the Arduino board which is fixed on the door. Is this
possible? Do I have to use a wifi shield or can I also use an ethernet shield
with a router? Which will be easier?
Also, if the above is feasible, I will then go on to expand this into a door
lock system where the phone/computer can be used to lock/unlock the door by
using a simple passcode lock over the wifi network. So, a person can remotely
lock and unlock his/her door from anywhere through wifi. Is this feasible too?
