How To Do Physics Homework

Hello, Mr.White, I am a junior in high school and would like to ask you if physics professors at universities explain material well. Sorry for being a bit ambiguous, I do realize that each professor is disparate and teaches his or her class differently. I ask this because my ap physics teacher, who is also a professor at a local community college, moves very quickly and is reluctant to explain a problem more than once. And when he does answer a question, he answers as quickly as possible, usually making it seem more complex than it really is. I would greatly appreciate for you to reply!

Mr. White, it seems to me that the technique of doing Physics homework is similar to writing a class in a computer program is it not? I mean, in a class of a computer program, you write variables, constructors (or instances of an object), and methods (calculations/computations). Does that sound familiar?
