Week 5 Day 3 // Legs + Biceps Strength Workout

It's leg day! Oh and don't forget about those biceps! :) Today's strength workout is loaded with some powerful leg and bicep exercises. Three sets total to really fatigue each muscle group and focus on building strength.

Breakdown: 2 strength circuits 12 reps x 3sets

Equipment Needed: dumbbells, stability ball + exercise mat or other soft surface.

*Choose a weight that is challenging but allows you to perform each movement with control and correct form. This weight will be different for each individual! Ball size should be chosen based off of your height. I highly recommend using the ball as it provides additional core and stability work but you can always use a bench, ottoman or perform many of the same exercises on the floor.

I’ve been doing it for 5 weeks and I love it. The only thing I would like it’s a little more variations instead of so many exercises that include squats. Otherwise, great routines!

I felt tired this morning.. Didn’t want to workout... did it anyway. It’s was not perfect because I couldn’t do all the moves (eg. I can’t jump the whole time) but I’m proud of myself anyway. I could beat the lack of motivation 💪

Excellent workout! You are strong! It's tough to keep up but I'm proud of the process.
Your videos are so well done. Great variety of exercises. Solid contrast of your outfits to the background, lots of camera angles to see the proper form, like all the countdown timers, previews and different bells to alert change in the routine. Lighting is good and the music is nice tempo and motivating. Top Notch! My favourite fitness coach!

Whew week 5 is kicking up the intensity HARD! Did this class yesterday and my legs are seriously feeling it today. The last two months have been the most consistently I've worked out in a long time, and that's largely thanks to this series. Thanks for putting out these videos!

been following this program regularly-ish & i haven't measured anything yet but i noticed the stretching at the end of each video has contributed to my flexibility? i can actually touch the floor now with relatively less effort! thanks heather!!!

Great quality workouts! I’m on week 5 day 3. Haven’t missed one. I’m more sore again this week! Love that you’re not annoying like so many at home workouts. Also really enjoy the consistent beep reminders so I don’t have to be looking up etc!

Heather thanks so much for your personal training. This workout, as are all of your videos, was killer. Thanks for kicking my butt. I am feeling stronger every day. This is the first time I’m really trying to incorporate and embrace weights in my workouts and I think it’s doing something good! As a former cardio (only) junkie, this is exactly the change I have been looking for. I love this 12 week program so far!
