Hi Sir at 21:00 for part (c) I was just thinking how exactly would you divide up into four strips if you were to tackle the question as it would not work with for instance 0, π/12, π/6, π/3 as you need five values as it is four strips.

The 2019 paper 2 question 2 about the trapezium rule question. Part a said to work out an estimate of the length. Trapezium rule is for estimating area under the curve. Y do we use the trapezium rule if we’re working out the length? Since trapezium rule is for area under the curve

Thank you so much. Just a quick question when explaining why it’s an overestimate, can we say the gradient is increasing or do we need to say the second derivative is greater than or equal to 0?

For part (a) in the last question, are you allowed to just put the integral into your calculator ( 1/cosx since there's no secx) and then just write down 1.317

Also, u chose x and secx, x wld be the x values obv, would secx be the y values, I don’t understand why secx wld be the y values

in the last video sir you said about to integrate sin(2x)^3,
took me 10 min to get
cos(6x)/24 ---3(cos(2x))/8 is it correct?
