Forgiveness is a great thing and has its place...Justification is so much more. In the end, you can keep forgiveness and I'll take justification.

Yeah, I'll take justification over forgiveness. Not even a toss-up. God's grace overwhelms all. Grace and peace, brother.

Great message, Brother. The deniers often say, "God won't/can't save all because He is just." They can't see that He is also the Justifier of all, based on the death and resurrection of Christ.

Thanks for unveiling the treasure behind justification. The sacrifice of Christ in providing this treasure paints a glorious picture.
Love, grace, and peace.

Thanks Scott for sharing the ultimate beauty that justification brings. Only God could invent this concept and only He has the power to bring it about through His Son. Hard concept for humanity to grasp, probably impossible for even us believers to fully grasp until we are glorified. I still catch myself saying oh Lord forgive me when I screw up and get angry or whatever.

I love having the understanding of the difference between forgiveness and justification. It is good to hear you talk about it. If I had a choice, I'd definitely choose justification. Yet in God's grace, He gives it to me anyway. Wow!

Thanks Scott. Judas is an excellent example to use, because his betrayal was foretold. Interesting that justification is founded on God's sovereignty, and His use of vessels of honor and dishonor - yet another way in which "free will" obfuscates truth. In itself what Judas did was the very opposite of what a friend would have done. But, from the celestial viewpoint, he was carrying out the purpose assigned to him as a vessel of dishonor, and his betrayal played a part in the Lord's "becoming obedient, even unto the death of a cross"... "wherefore God highly exalts Him..." The Lord's exaltation required Judas' betrayal, Pilate's indifference and the Pharisees' hatred.

Funny how Christians say that justification and forgiveness are the same thing. "You are justified, you are right, you haven't done anything wrong and you are forgiven for all that." _WHAT? _ How much sense does that make? A second problem, forgiveness can be taken back. Remember the parable of the unforgiving servant? Justification is by far a better state. I'll take it over forgiveness all day long. Great show today my friend. Thanks for the reminder.

Hi quick question… are believers justified only or all of creation? Thank you still trying to understand some things

What christians are in desperate need of learning is that God's justice is locked up in what Christ did. Salvation is Christocentric not anthropocentric. Consequently salvation is centered on what Christ did on the cross not what sinners do day to day, whether good or bad. God IS just and the Justifier of the ungodly. He can do this because right must be done for Christ's sake Who died for the ungodly. If the ungodly aren't made just and saved then God would be robbing Christ of His just reward. It would make God unjust. The outcome of salvation must be commensurate with the value of Christ and His death that set out to pay the ransom for everyone. Will God shortchange His only begotten Son?
