I think the answer really depends on where you are looking. As a purely PVE player, who solos a lot of the game, I do not encounter many toxic players. Most of the time I just see some people who may be willing to help, or do not say anything. PVP, from what I've seen, is more toxic than anywhere else in the game. One of the worst places, however, is from places that are common spots for farming. Darkmoor is awful, most people farming it and criticizing lower level players with worse stats. Like- yeah, that's why they're there.

In regard to what you said about female players being targeted, it is a disgusting truth to every game, and I can't even describe how angry that makes me. There are so many sad toxic losers who are living an unhappy life and try to project that on others, especially women.

Ultimately, from what I've seen from the people I am around. Its actually pretty chill, its just that there are a significant amount of toxic players who are grinders. I would just try your best to ignore them, and avoid them. I've dipped out of dungeons a few times because of toxic players. Find yourself a group of players that are friendly and willing to help, and you should be perfectly find through the whole game.

Yes. What I can say is most of the toxicity comes from farming bosses, and doing dungeons. There's been so many times where I've met entitled and selfish people and that just makes me dissapointed.

Human nature tends to remember more bad experiences than good. That said I do think the community is VERY positive compared to most other mmo's Wiz's top end gameplay is about efficency I understand if players get frustrated at other less informed players as its not fun to have a BM run, farm session or pvp match ruined by an inexperienced player. That said I think KI is doing a good job at fixing the underlieing issues here and in the meantime Im being SUPER positive and helping the players learn rather than going hard in the paint and just being toxic.

I also see 50/50 in the community even till this day. Theirs negative vibes but just turn them around. I love to give out free packs once and a while to to show how great wiz can be.

To answer the question. As a very long time player. As someone who beat almost every boss and dungeon before they were nerfed. As someone who literally met their best friends through wizard101 I can EASILY say the community is as toxic as a lily of the valley! I stopped playing entirely this year due to how people treated me and my girlfriend and dont plan to return.

In my opinion, the game has more nice people than toxic, but the toxic people have the loudest voices

Pvpers are salty af. I try to interact with them nicely and all they respond when they lose is “you’re bad” the irony. Also when I pvp on my muted account, the opponent won’t shut the f up in tourneys. They’re so talkative and annoying for no reason. But definitely the players aren’t as toxic comparatively to other MMO’s

I met nicer people and more talkative people in the commons or in pvp. When questing; people were toxic when I ask to join them or they would like to quest or farm together.
