Thank you so much. I was unable to see ports on my Windows 10 computer so I could not connect with my ESP32 boards. You put me on the right track with understanding CP2102. I finally found the drivers on Windows driver update by sillabs and my ESP32 is up and running.

Worked perfectly on both my laptops, thank you very much for the tutorial I'm sure it saved me a lot of pain. I got error when uploading the Blink demo saying the the .ar file was in use and could not be overwritten. I did some research and found out my Anti-Virus real-time scanning was causing the problem.Turned it off for the first upload, then turned it back on. All following upload went OK. Keep up the good work!

Excellent concise informaative video with all the important steps.
To add just a little something that was maybe not relevant at the time of making this, but now with so many manufacturers and board schematics it is.
My board was exactly as you describe everything however the LED is attched to pin 1.

I mention this only because some people may believe whn the LED does not flash, that there is something more complex wrong. Just look around and change the #define LED_BUILTIN to a different number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and try the sketch again.

Thank you again for saving me time...
