Detecting a carburetor to manifold air leak

If your idle is not ideal, it's easy to check for air leaks between the carburetor and intake manifold. Spray carb cleaner on the gasket area, and there's an air leak, this will temporarily seal it and you will tell an immediate difference in the idle. This video is of a Honda CT90 in the video, but this works for any carburetor.

Thank you i just watched 30 videos of people blabbing on and on, yours was straight to the point. Could I put rtv on both sides of the gasket as a fix? Would it do anything?
