Happy to see how you harvest and use lovage, as I have just purchased some seeds. Hopefully in a couple of years I’ll be making the powder from my own plants. Thanks for sharing your method! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱

What a nice channel! I live in Ontario Canada, I’m going to harvest and dry my lovage today. I like to use it in my chicken stock. I have never thought to make it into a powder but now you have me thinking about it!

Very good idea, drying the lovage. Here in the Netherlands we call it a Maggiplant. In the store you can buy Maggi in a liquid form. But I definetely are going to process my maggiplant into the powder. That will be wonderful. Thanks!

It's called lavas in dutch sounds weird honestly, but when I ordered it and got my hands on them for the first time in my life I was amazed at how great the smell was. I found this herb by looking at the ingredients of a specific marinade.

I just found your channel and I want to thank you for the leverage powder processing. I bought this beautiful plant at a local nursery and I had no idea what to do with it..

You know how it is on an allotment site you can be confused what fellow allotmenters are growing but I have worked out what some are growing, lovage. I just thought it was giant form of celery, but not 100% convinced, now I know it is lovage definitely so I will try and squeeze some into the already crowded allotment plot. Thank you very much for that dehydrating innovation, if I manage to get a lovage growing I will give it a go. Thanks

Due to my own hangups, I use the Latin name of the genus lovage is in to mean the plant itself, although I restress it to sound like a "normal" English word: levísticum.

I live in western Canada, but am originally from the south of England.

This plant is in the backyard of the home I bought. The smell was like celery or mustard seed but I thought it could be a weed, it’s still there thankfully because I’m curious to try this in my stock. Thanks
