The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N is a high performance version of the normal Ioniq 5. The Ioniq 5 N got a 84 kWh battery (gross capacity), all-wheel-drive and got a combined power output of 650 hp (478 kW) and 740 Nm of torque. This electric hatchback accelerates in 3,4 seconds to 100 kmh with launch control, according to the manufacturer. In this test we did it in 3,8 seconds without launch control. Its top speed is officially 260 kmh. The speedometer shows 266 kmh. The car has an official WLTP-range of 448 km. The realistic range with an eco driving style, according to our tests, is 380 km in midseason with outside temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees celsius. At a fast charger the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes at a maximum power of +-260 kW (DC).
