ER doctor who survived COVID-19 reunites with family after 3-month-long battle

Dr. Grant Lashley spent 39 days on a ventilator after getting sick with COVID-19 and having a stroke. He reunited with his wife and three kids after nearly six weeks of rehabilitation.

I was diagnosed with covid on July 18th had a serious sore throat and a headache then lost my taste and smell.
That was a Saturday. Then by the following Tuesday the symptoms were all gone and I feel normal with no weakness just five days after testing positive.
I am grateful, Im feeling blessed.🦋🐞🌻
I don't have any family around waiting to be happy for me like this man, it's only me and God 🙏 again. Thank you Lord for your protection and healing.

My moms a nurse who has a blood clot on her brain it caused a stroke that caused he to be on a ventilator for 21 days they tested negative for covid 5 times she had to have brain surgery that only 15% of people survive! I’m just so grateful she was at work when it happened and seeing her co workers responding fast and saving her life! Thank you to every doctor and nurse who are not old fighting Covid but also saving other people’s lives with other serious medical problems!
