I am a physician and I can tell you she is exactly right. In my case, none of my kids will study Medicine. I will tell them "go be a Youtuber or something, develope the next hot software. Go into real estate or Wall Street. I will support you there. This job is a stressful and thankless job".

I predict teachers will leave teaching too. It's just not worth the money.

When the hospitals are full there is no extra medical staff. We are tired. We are tired of disingenuous people who can’t be bothered to listen to science. This is going to be bad and republicans own ever single bit of it.

If you do not social distance and wear a mask, you should be denied medical care. Why should you get to inflict harm on others with no consequence to yourself.

Football players get millions to kick a ball, when health care workers are on minimum wage, its a great way to honour people who save our lives.

it would be better if the leaders in govt weren't busy trying to ignore scientists and make masks etc a political thing

The protesters against wearing mask should volunteer to be health workers for covid 19 patients

I don’t blame them. A lot of citizens are not following the recommendations and other mitigation practices. Why should they continue to saves others’ lives, when the people they are trying to save can’t even bother to social distance or wear a mask?

Do what vets do. Shove it in your hurt locker to reopen later under the supervision of alcohol and marijuana.

Absolutely. Guys buying and selling stocks on Wall Street make millions and doctors and nurses and support staff are paid peanuts. There’s got to be a serious reassessment of what is important

Given the difficulties of facing the Great Waves of change—environmental deterioration, the decline of your resources and the resulting problems in food production, the distribution of essential resources for people, the risk of pandemic illness and the threat of war and conflict—all of these things represent the immense danger that humanity now faces and will face increasingly as you proceed.

Maybe they can get jobs as Teachers, they don't want to work either. Or join the Police force, there is a lot of openings in that profession!
