I feel like this feature is so funny because there’s just so much wrong with it. For one, I’ve had several times where standby just starts without being on the charger. The way to get out of it is not intuitive at all if you don’t already know how to exit. It takes up screen time which makes no sense since it’s literally called standby mode. There’s probably more I’m forgetting.

If it’s not working for you, you need to twist the orientation horizontallly first, then plug in your charger/place it on the wireless charger, in that specific order

I was charging my phone just now and I accidentally set off the standby mode and I was literally surprised because I didn’t know this was a new feature

I use it 7 days a week but I feel the user experience could be improved. Not easy to customize the screen. I find information scrolling that I never intended to display. Would be nice if the large clock would simply appear without some of the extra features

iPhone 11, standby works fine but the Lock Screen comes up and it’s nearly impossible to get through it and be able to hit snooze, I know, I should just get up, can I get rid of the Lock Screen in standby?

Has the alram clock issue been fixed for "stand by" mode? Several people including myself have had the alarm clock not function with it in stand by mode.

Standby is actually crazy cuz it shows like a black and red silhouette of the people tab in ur photos and lets just say i was surprised when i saw a picture of my friend staring at me at 3 am 😂😂😂

You are wrong. Standby is indeed available on iPhone 13 Pro Max.

I can't answer calls while on standby mode. Is someone have this issue? While on standby mode, when the phone rings, I simply can't answer, even if I unplug my phone. :(
