Camera Angles In Cinematography 🎥

Camera angles are a crucial element in creating different effects, emotions, and moods in a scene. Here are three of the most common types of camera angles:

High Angle Shot

A high angle shot looks down on the subject, making them appear vulnerable or small. It can also show the subject's surroundings. This shot creates unease or helplessness in the viewer.

Low Angle Shot

A low angle shot looks up at the subject, making them appear powerful or heroic. It can also emphasise the subject's size or stature. This shot creates admiration or respect in the viewer.

Dutch Angle Shot

A Dutch angle shot is taken with the camera tilted to one side, creating a sense of disorientation or instability in the scene. It can be used to show the subject's perspective or create a sense of chaos.
