So who found out their JBL GO 3 is fake?

Look at the diagonal lines on gray side. Upper left corner of fake doesn't have the same small line as original. Saw that on other fakes as well.

This is why you buy the go 3 and other jbl products RIGHT from their website so you can avoid all this bs, least then you will know it is a fully authentic product. You can even hear the fake lacks the Harman curve and all the dsp tuning of the real one, the fake sounds boxy...

Mines got a weird silver sharpie plus sign on the inside of the grill and it looked loose to begin with and I think I found out when trying to pry it open it just simply wouldn’t open and wasn’t the same as the official teardown videos flimsy and messed up pins and I was opening it because I dropped it once and the pin for the button was out of place and it just won’t go back probably fake lmfaooo

the fake jbl system sounds like they recorded it with phone mic

one of the easy ways to tell is to see if the text is engraved or printed (engraved is real) and if it has the white serial, if it has the white text then deffo fake

Look at the back strokes on the rubber of the original, they start from small to large, the fake starts directly with a large stroke. That's how you can tell if you have an original or a fake. About a thumbs up I would be happy.

i have a fake one.. the difference between the legit and fake. it has a engrave serial at the back. both fake and a legit one. have ANATEL at the back..

I got a real one. The serial number is engrave.
When short press power on button, it immediate power ON.
