They were both dominant carnivores on our planet, true kings of the areas that they ruled. But what would happen if the two met one another? What if the two had met? Mosasaurus wins easily. It will literally kill and eat the t.rex. The fighting will never take place on land as the mosasurus is fully aquatic and will never be able to come onto land.

Mosasaurus: 12.3m & 8.3 tonnes

T rex has 2 tonnes over Mosasaurus thus makes Tyrannosaurus larger.

The moment t.rex enters the water the mosasaurus will grab it underwater and kill it. The fighting will never take place on land as the mosasaurus is fully aquatic and will never be able to come onto land.

At 6:28 I own mosasaur jaw fossils, mosasaur tooth fossils and even a paddle bone as well as fossils from other dinosaurs (I know they're not dinosaurs but still)

So in this case the water right next to the shore is at least 20+ feet deep? If the Mosasaur was close enough to anger a T-Rex that was on the land then the mosasaur must have been beached or in water so shallow people would swim in it. The only way this fight happens is if the T-Rex is swimming across the western interior sea and while in the deeper waters a lucky mosasaur spots an easy meal.

Even if the two met the water depth needed for mosasaur would rarely come close land. The Rex wasn't stupid, quite the opposite actually. The Rex had more self awareness than the mosasaur. It regularly dealt with high intelligence animals. The mosasaur on the other hand was slightly above aquatic average.
