Session Abstract -

Microsoft Fabric was first announced during Microsoft Build 2023. Which has caused a lot of excitement in the Microsoft Data Platform community. Over the last eighteen months there has been plenty of changes.

As we head towards the end of 2024 I give a brief overview of Microsoft Fabric is before going into details about how you can use Azure DevOps with it at this moment in time. Including Git integration and other ways that you can perform CI/CD for Data Warehouses and SQL database in Fabric.

During the session I will provide plenty of recommendations.

Data Engineering Manager in the Netherlands. Originally from the UK and now living in the Netherlands. Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Data Platform MVP specializing in Microsoft Fabric.

Many years experience in the IT sector, including supporting companies in the top 10 of the fortune 500 list.

In addition to a lot of experience with the Microsoft Data Platform.

Real life experience with various Microsoft Data Platform offerings and Azure Devops. Held various roles; including Team Leader, SQL Server Product Owner, certification coach, Solution Architect, Fabric SME, etc.

In addition, involved with Data Platform Community in various ways. Including blogs, MVP videos, event and user-group organizer and sharing various repositories in GitHub.
