Actually the safest part of the plane to get your seat at is in the middle and over the wings of the plane because that is the strongest part of every airplane. NOT the back of the plane like you suggested. Most plane crash survivors are going to come from the seats in the middle over the wing. The tale will come apart and break off the end of the plane in a lot of cases
