been there. had to cut some holes in a well casing to hang pipe on and couldn't do it with a torch so I wiped out the gouger and popped some holes real quick. definitely one of the most handy tools I own

Never ceases to amaze me that people don't know you can arc weld underwater. Certain extra precautions of course need be used.

Aqua air arc cutting, nothing like aqua planing but the consequences are usually not as good with the latter! 😂😂😂😂

I have welded in light rain while in a man lift and I know if your gloves get wet it will light you up. I can only imagine that air arc would hurt more due to much higher amps.

That's the only way I know to cut tracks off of dams when logs and debris hit them. Torches don't work so well in lakes.

Why not just drill or cut a small drain hole in the bottom then weld it up when you’re done?

Question !
Chalk lines ?
Do they contaminate the the weld ?
My opinion, little if any but if so how much ?

You think maybe that’s why that thing is splitting because of the water inside and freezing?

I know you can cut underwater because I did it for about 10 years when I was a commercial driver

Couldn't you have drained the water in the frame by drilling before arc gouging? No point in risking your health with the electricity through your body when the gloves get wet.
