Do you have one of these BANNED or REMOVED Games on YOUR Nintendo Switch? Time to list it on eBay 💰

The darkest thing is that AAA games from 8 years ago still go at full price. The greed of Nintendo is everlasting and people just eat it.

I love stuff like this; for a few months I've been going between both the Aus and US e-shop and seeing games that aren't available in my home region. Two examples are 'Mary Skelter Finale' and the Switch port of 'Fruits of Grisaia' which both were refused classification; this baffles me because games from the Genkai Tokki series show up on both online stores as well as 'Omega Labyrinth Life.'

I really didn't expect to have anything on here but I still have the original Pokémon cafe mix just whenever you want to play it you will have to cancel the update after it has closed

Wait, you're telling me that Ittle Dew was removed due to licensing/legal issues and NOT because of the Wind Waker art style?

Ittle Dew was removed on 9/19/19 and I think that looks kinda cool

Hey Wood, guess what? Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon & The Blade of Light's Switch release DID NOT get a physical release. They have you a download code for it and that was it. The other goodies are of course still limited to the physical, but the game does not exist on a cartridge.

actually there is still two different minecraft versions one is on all platform except computers without windows 10 then theres the java version which is pc exclusive

I was devo when they pulled the fire emblem shadow dragon from the eshop. I really wanted it but I was at a bad place at the time it released and when I finally went to look for it, it was gone 🥲

I’m still so shocked that Nintendo took down 3D All Stars. Like the amount they sold in a short time and the amount they would have kept selling with Mario (especially Galaxy) makes their decision insane

i wonder if the game removed for "mature content" was actually incorrectly rated.
nintendo allows full nudity in retail games, as long as their rating correctly says 18+.
for eshop games they allow partial nudity, again as long as it is rated for 18+

if the game doesn't have an 18+ rating despite having nudity it is incorrectly rated, and nintendo rejects it because parental controls wouldn't work correctly for it.

Cooking Mama crashed twice when I play that game. I played so many switch games and nothing ever crashed until I play Cooking Mama. Really disappointing since I bought physical copy of it.

Taking off Mario 35 was so disappointing. Just as I was getting decent at it and winning they removed it. It was really fun! And what about the people who spent so much time creating that game just to have it removed from the eShop, not having people enjoy it? Kinda sucky

Remember back in the day when I was in the Game Industry business (literally 2-3 years), it was super hard to pass the quality check for Nintendo and Sony. For the slightest issue that might cause a crash or blocker, they would return it. Nowadays, it seems that nobody gives a damn anymore.

Perfect timing for a video! I just came home with my brand new OLED switch and getting ready to rip it open like the bubbling cavegirl that I am!

It was really interesting hearing about the Cooking Mama game since I actually have a physical copy of it and play it without any problems. It's never crashed on me or over heated my switch. I mean, I don't think it's the best game in the franchise, but I still think it's fun to play and the recipes don't take too much time if you only have a short amount of time to play

You said the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft was removed because they wanted to port over the pc version to replace it. While somewhat true, this statement is not 100 percent correct. What happened was that they originally could not get the pc version of Minecraft to work on consoles so they would remake Minecraft from the ground up to run on consoles. However, they still had to constantly update each version, and after having about 7 different versions to work on, the developers started to feel overwhelmed. What they did was they released a version of Minecraft made just for consoles, however it was separate from the pc version, and that is what replaced the Nintendo Switch version. This new version of Minecraft is referred to as the bedrock edition, and the pc version is referred to as the Java version. They did release the bedrock edition on pc, however it is commonly considered inferior to the Java edition.

Removing "A Dark Room" is understandable because a Ruby interface is basically THE invitation to run unauthorized code. At this point you need to figure out a security vulnerability to access the underlying system and from there on a homebrew enabler is "basically a cakewalk". I put it in quotation marks because you still need a lot of programming experience to make it work.

The Pokemon Cafe Remix part really felt like a stretch. They didn't change too much of the core gameplay. They added some RPG elements by making the level up system for pokemon have more of an effect. Also all the 1200 stages from the old version of the game is still available, you just need to go through some menu tabs and they don't really add too much to your progress other than some exclusive costumes for your pokemon. If you were an old player from before the update, they would remember your progress in the old levels but you still have to play from the beginning for the new levels. You would also get back all of your previously obtained pokemon after completing the tutorial.
