What it comes down to is having a great set of fundamentals. Her release is actually very simple, straightforward and easily repeatable. I've watched this video and the one she has with Del Warren from about 11 or 12 years ago and her release hasn't changed.

She's had one of the strongest bowling releases on the women's tour for a long time. Of course, there have been crankers who could out-rev her, but she can still cover a lot of boards when necessary. That combined with her insane speed control and ability to repeat shots made her top tier for a long time.

I watched her throw a few shots on a house pattern at the local bowling alley in the area I'm in. Her reaction was scary to watch with the power she got to the pocket.
