To this Journalist: Are you aware that Uganda is a sovereign country? If so, then you can understand that Ugandan gave the US the middle finger 🖕

I hate that the US involves itself in other countries in things beyond commerce and trade.

As a Ugandan, I believe that anyone who thinks US pressure can make Uganda backtrack on this law is deluded. If one was following the events of 2013, the President was initially hesitant to sign the bill and did it when pressure from external actors not to sign intensified. Like last time, It will probably be struck down by the courts due to its own legal defects. I don't think there is any Ugandan who believes that withdraw of US support will make our country cease to exist.

When America stops mistreating it’s African-American community, then maybe it can preach about human rights to African nations.

Good job Uganda. Don't let the same U.S.A that couldn't defeat and eradicate the Taliban after 20 years of war and that couldn't stop Putin and stand up to him pressure you.

The Ugandan president has balls to say that he doesn't like lgbt. Even Biden or Trump wouldnt've dared to say that. Huge Respect for this guy.

As an American I support Uganda's stance on the issue. The US needs to stop bullying other countries.

0:04 That is god-tier honesty right there. Something the United States of America does not have. Mad respect to Uganda from the Philippines. 🤜🤛🤝

Imagine if Uganda told the USA how the President should run the USA. 😆🤦🏾

Lol such misinformation and cope. The constituency and representatives called for this bill. Is Uganda a sovereign nation? Is Uganda allowed to vote on its own issues? If the answer is yes, leave Uganda alone.

All Ugandans support this law. After all, if they didn't, they would feel free to disagree. Right?
