So far, this video is the closest thing I've seen to diagnosing my issue. I hear the single knock every time I stop. But also a little bit when I take off. I suspected something to do with the caliper being loose, but it doesn't seem to be. Guess I'll check the pads too. Thanks!

Thank you for your uploaded video. Because of your video i solved my problem. My local car dealer technician also cannot find the problem. Wasted my money USD 200 change tie rod, ball bearing, stabilizer link. Still cannot solve the problem, somemore wanna change lower arm. After see your video. Ask the technician check the brake. Then solve without single cent.

It's not just the "cheap stuff."
This can happen is the brakes hardware is not replaced and it's loose. When loose, pads won't sit properly on them.
I just realized that my hardware is a bit loose. I did not replace it with new one.
And i just serviced brakes. So yeah, no pads replaced.
I'll be replacing the hardware soon.

Thanks. Video for me to conclusion of my problem!
Conclusion, replace brake hardware when changing brakes.

Hey man, good video. Hope you're doing well.
I was hoping for your input on the issue I've been having.
My Lexus has new front calipers, rotors, pads. New rear rotors and pads.
When I press the brake pedal there's a very clear click, only one. It happens I'd say 7/10 times I press the pedal.
I also feel a shaking when I drive the car which worsens with speed. Add to that a humming noise when I turn left. I've concluded that to be a front right wheel bearing which I will replace.
I'm still unsure of the clicking noise I hear in the front end when I press the brake pedal. I have 4 new tires, recently balanced, and aligned. I explained to the alignment tech my issue so he went over my front end suspension and said everything was tight and in good shape. He says he thinks the brakes are probably the source of the issue.
If what you're saying in your video turns out to be the issue, what's the solution? OEM pads?
Thanks for your time..

My 2009 Lexus Es350 has had this pop noice for years! Lexus couldnt fingure it out. Since 2022, I replaced the Cv axles, control arms, ball joints, sway bar bushings and links, complete struts and today the engine mounts, and it still does it.

Hey, I changed my wheel bearings On the passenger side yesterday and today a clicking noise started coming from that spot, it only stops when I’m stepping foot on the gas and when I let go or only maintain a speed, it starts clicking again. The faster the car goes the faster it clicks

When I apply the brakes on my van it makes a clicking noise but I feel it also stabbing the pedal so I reckon its an ABS thing - the splined part of the shaft next to the sensor is very rough and corroded so it could be that throwing out the sensor maybe.

I hear a single clicking noise when I brake, but only when the car is in motion.

If I’m at a stop light/stop sign, there’s no click.

Any idea what that could be?

I also changed my Ford Mondeo 5 hybrid brake pads. The original was earlier, but I replaced the same with a textar - I have the same problem - if I slow down, then there is a click at the end, and after that, if I do acceleration, I again have a click after braking.
I will supply the original - manufacturer ATE brake pads

Hey I have this exact clicking noise after rear brake pad change when I apply brakes at a low speed only... Is this clicking noise a hazard or is it harmless

This answered my question by four because I just changed my control arm and I guarantee when I was trying to hold the whole side of I fucked with the caliber on accident and loosened it. So how do you fix this? Brand new calipers?
